Roadside Warning Triangle
The gap for the triangle box is 17" but available generic units are 17.3". Won't fit.
There must be a Jaguar triangle for those countries that require it, but can't find it. Neither could the Jag dealer. Anybody know what and where to look for this, or for a generic one that fits?

In the USA, there is apparently a requirement for size of the reflective triangle. Each side must be "not less than 17 inches" (CFR 571.125). Not sure where 'the gap' is on your vehicle, but if you put the triangle(s) inside any kind of box, it would pretty much have to be bigger than 17".
That being said, a trip through amazon currently shows one (Chinese made) triangle kit which, according to the listing, claims to have a side length of 16.9".
From the pix, these look pretty compact. They don't meet the requirement, but they might pass a cursory inspection. And while the box is longer than 17" (again, the proverbial 17.3"), perhaps you can ditch the box and wrap the triangles with a velcro strap. Still, they look pretty lightweight, and would probably blow away in a stiff wind.
Good luck anyway.

Thanks for the quick response and for the information. That green box is apparently the UK version, and I had hoped it might be sold by someone in the US, but so far no joy.
This has already taken more time than it is worth, so I think I will cut a piece of 1/2" pvc and double-stick tape it to the side of the 17.3" triangle's box, and it will be fine, not original, but good enough for my purposes. Better yet, cut a piece of wood, cover it with black trunk liner, and place it in the gap below the triangle's box. If I am ever in a show, simply removing it puts it back to stock, anyway.
I used to have a Blue Bird motorhome and highly valued the owner forum for technical information. So glad to see we have the same with Jaguars. Thanks again.

Can't remember the last time I saw one of those used in the US.
Haven;'t seen any flares lately either, though they probably get more attention than a 17 inch triangle.
My plan is simple - turn on the flashers and get the hell away from the car, especially if anywhere near a major highway!!

Try looking at "eBay UK" site. I don't think JLR makes those. Could be sourced from other European countries

So, not sure on this, but I'll take a stab.
C2S24742 is listed as a warning triangle for USA and Mexico market, and C2Z6125 as a stowage bag for it in the USA and Mexico market. I've not seen them installed, and sounds like the sizing wouldn't work for these (don't have the actual dimensions).
T2H56176 is listed as triangle for the ROW market (minus China), and C2S45468 as the stowage bag for ROW (including China).

T2H57656 may well be listed for ROW but that is what you get when you order in the US. Currently out of stock at the DC but several dealers seem to have them. This is in the green box with the proper Jaguar leaper embossed. Fits perfectly at the coupe bulkhead under two elastic straps.
T2H57656 is listed as the replacement for the original C2P2895, and does not have the green box. It is about 1/4" longer making it 17" on a side, to be legal in the US. Unfortunately that makes the box too big, if it has a box. May just buy it and plastic bag it.
Frankly, does it matter to anyone if it’s legal size for the US? It’s most certainly better than nothing, but do you think you’ll get a ticket because it’s 1/4” too small? I’ve certainly seen trucks deploy these, but almost never for passenger vehicles. But I think it’s a great idea to carry one.
My only interest is in filling the space with something that fits. It isn't required in the US, so the dimension doesn't matter, except that the original is the only one that fits in my Jag; others seem to have a longer slot, for some reason. Who knows? Jaguar may not even know why....
Tried that, but it is too far away to reach without leaning against the rear of the car and getting your clothes wet. So I bought a Nautica black umbrella that fits perfectly against the rear boot wall, out of sight, and handy. Nice umbrella, not collapsible, on sale for ten bucks; good deal. It wasn't Jaguar, but I probably saved $50 on something I'll likely never use.
Well I did break down and buy the correct Jaguar logo umbrella from Moss Motors. It measures 16" folded and fits perfectly in the space and secured by the elastic straps. I attempt to never drive my F Type in inclement weather but on a trip up to Santa Barbara a few months ago I got caught in a downpour just before reaching my hotel and like a proper British gentleman I deployed my umbrella for the walk from the parking lot to the lobby.

Got an e-mail back from Europe. Although they show the original triangle in the green box, they are shipping the replacement p/n as all the originals are gone. Time to move on.
