Default Salsa Red vs. Caldera Red

Does anyone have any good comparison pics between the two, especially on a coupe.
I see that Caldera replaces Salsa in June '15. I wonder why??

Plus I'm thinking that maybe the IRR is just too much and I should tone it down a notch. Sigh.

UK Configurator is still showing Salsa or IRR as the only option, regardless of model?

Salsa Red has more of that Ferrari red look to me.... IRR was a bit dark for my liking

Caldera appears to be a truer red, with a little less orange. However, it doesn't appear to be a major change from Salsa.

The Italian Racing Red is Xirallic paint and the Salsa is standard gloss.

That website also has copius pics of the 2016 Coupe in what appears to be Stratus Gray but is consistently referred to a Storm Grey....

There is a UK 2016 brochure of 100 pages that shows the cutover date on page 66.

Lawrence.
Yeah and I think that is why it might have too much "bling" for me.

Actually I thought the bright Salsa Red was more "showy" than the darker IRR which is why I chose the IRR. The IRR is a more understated bling but still a headturner.

I'm glad they offer both. The Salsa Red for me is a bit too bright.

+1. That's the way I see the colors too, but everyone is looking through different colored irises.

I think what was meant by more "blingy" is that IRR is a Xirallic color with a lot of metal flake which can appear glittery and changes shades based upon sun angle. Salsa is a standard non-metallic paint without the glitter. However, Salsa is most certainly brighter on the color spectrum.

Yes, that's what I meant. IRR is very glittery in the sun, whereas Salsa and Caldera are brighter reds in all sky conditions. I'm trying to duplicate that E-Type red of my youth.
