Default Screen and gauges flashing on and off

Yesterday I was driving on the highway at about 75 MPH in my 2016 F-Type S when the center screen and gauges began flickering, then turning on and off. Warning messages about ABS malfunction and other warnings flashed intermittently. I first thought about pulling over but remembered a post on this forum about a guy who had this occur and couldn't get the car restarted after pulling over and shutting it off. I kept driving and after a minute or so the flashing and turning on and off stopped and I drove the car the rest of the day with no issues. I disconnected the battery in the hope that whatever was wrong would reset and I checked the connectors on the CJB in the passenger footwell and all appeared tight. Does anyone have any other tips on what I can check? Thanks for the help.

Sounds like yet another example of weird and wonderful things going on due to a sub-par battery.
On a 2016 the original battery would be around six years old and that's the age these batteries start to go wonky unless regularly hooked up to a battery tender.

First - Check for good, fully charged battery. As suggested, if this is the original, you're due. (And, even on a new one, put it on CTEK overnight to make sure it's fully charged.)
Second - Bad ground.

Since the engine was running when this happened, it may also be an alternator issue. The battery is used solely for starting the car, and after that, the alternator runs everything. If it's going out, the system would then start borrowing from the battery and showing the same symptoms. I suggest having the charging system checked out before replacing the battery. Replacing the battery without looking further can mask the problem, as the fresh battery may last a while longer than the old one, then the car can start exhibiting the very same symptoms.

Thanks for the responses gents. The battery is 9 months old, having been replaced for the second time under warranty after I experienced the issue with the OBD2 connection for the PA emissions test not allowing the car to turn off and the battery becoming too flat to accept a charge. From now on I will be disconnecting the ground after PA inspection to stop that issue. Is there a chart or photo of the main grounds for the car? It shouldn't be a problem to clean them if I know where they are. I drove the car yesterday, on the highway, with no problems.

I would suggest you to go with good battery and insurance of the same, which could get you coverage in same situations

Ive read that some folks have found the earth point in the front right wheel well to suffer corrosion.
