Seat belt chime again

Seat belt chime again
I know this has been covered before but it’s usually resolved by suggestions to get the seat belt clips that plug in where the regular belt would go or by lecturing that wearing a belt is a great thing etc.
Long story short, I’ve got myself a medical condition where for half of the time I cannot, and am legally exempted from, wear a seat belt. I don’t need any lectures about this thanks. On my Land Cruiser and BMW I’ve been able to find the right diagnostic tools to fiddle about and disable the chimes. It looks to me like there are territories where cars are sold that definitely don’t require belts so the cars *can* be made to shut up with the right magic.
I’m new to JLR (in fact I don’t even have my ftype until next week) so I don’t know much about the electronics etc but does anybody have any info on these type of factory set options and whether there’s any way of getting them adjusted for stuff like the chime?
all help appreciated!

I've been in Jaguars in some "less regulated" countries, but they still had seat belts & chimes. (Just because they're not legally mandated doesn't mean no one wants them.)
- You could download the shop manual from links on the site and pull the chime.
- You could hack into the control system to disable the logic, but it may create a warranty issue.
A simple seat belt extension, seems like the easy/practical approach. They start at $1.51, including shipping on eBay. (The male plug from a junk car would be even less.) But, you mentioned that you don't want that.

Hi Uncheel, thanks for the response.
I expect the plug is the solution I'll end up with, and that's hardly the end of the world. I just don't like to go for a nice simple solution when a complicated and potentially risky and expensive one might be available :-)
On all my recent BMWs one I found out how to access these hidden options there were actually some cool things in there aside from the belt chimes. On my 650 for example I was able to enable 2 stage brake lights (which as far as I can see BMW never even sold as an option), make the side mirrors fold on lock (paid option), enable per key seat memory (paid again) and other stuff. The Land Cruiser was similar. I'm sure I ready around here somewhere that FTypes that apparently only have single zone climate can have dual zone enabled just by playing with similar options so I'd love to get in there and see what's available. I'll start a separate thread less focused on seat belts and see if there's anyone with clues.
Thanks again!

A 4-speed transmission, a 2-speed splitter (between engine and tranny), and the 2-speed transfer case. You do the math. ‘76 LC. Had to put in the overdrive splitter to get it up to highway speeds. It’ll top 100mph now. (LS-3 engine)
