Default Secret sequence ?

So my 2016 V6 always used to enable the EPB brake automagically when Park was selected in the transmission.

Except today it didn't.

I don't think I deliberately turned it off although I found a piece ion the web that says you can turn it OFF by holding down the EPB switch to release it, then turn the car off within five seconds and hold the switch in release for another two seconds. BUT there's nothing to tell you how to put it back on. Tried the inverse of holding the EPB enable for five seconds, turn off ignition and continue for another two seconds but that didn't seem to undo it.

Did I just break something ;-)

Isn't that just a one time procedure which will reset next time you use the car?
