I do not know how it got there but I have a small scratch in the grey latticework dash above my touchscreen. As can be seen, though it is small it is shiny, unpleasant and distracting. I have considered using a sharpie but would welcome a better solution if anyone has one (short of replacing the part).

Just a thought... Hard to touch up and look good... Perhaps a sticker of some kind or even one of those cell phone magnetic holders to cover up.....

They also have stick on carbon fiber look trim pieces that stick on for this area over the screen on ebay...... or some oem used parts..... that look like it just snaps on and off....

I'd recommend starting with a Sharpie as the zero-cost option and see if you can live with it.
