I can see absolutely no point in owning an F-Type and not driving it myself! Self-driving afficionados clearly have no love, or understanding, of driving.

JLR needs that for all SUVs. I'm sure they will not invest into F-Type self driving.

Default Yeah, right!

Yeah, right! Jaguar hopes to compete against Tesla? JLR can't manage simple infotainment system software yet they are going to attempt autonomous driving.

I am afraid that the future for Jaguar looks bleak.

Who buys a Tesla if they enjoy driving? F-Types are for drivers, not passengers.

I would not expect the F-Type to exist once JLR goes all electric.
Buy one in 2026 before they all go!!
They may have going out of business sale!

Hmmm......... Think I'd take a less-than-perfect Jaguar infotainment system over Tesla's "phantom braking" any day.

And, while I'm not an EV fan, there's a lot of huge potential power in some of the newer models being produced. And now that Toyota has patented a "pseudo" manual transmission for EVs, and with cross-licensing common among manufacturers, I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of a sporty electronic Jag in the future.

Have you seen this rumor?

F-Type will be gone by then. And you can be sure Jaguar is not going to introduce a new sports car until it has a nice stable of electric SUVs/Crossovers. Sucks, but everyone is rushing to not get left behind on the transition to EVs.
