Yes, Mt. Etna!

Yes, all the islanders (Brits too) want to be on there own. Not sure the Italians can find their way.

Low cost to higher cost mostly-DYI fun mods -
1. Debadge rear
2. Puddle Lights
3. Interior LED under-dash lights
4. Mobile mount, ACC off charging
5. Window Tinting - a must with black trim or certain colors, not crazy +30%
5b. 15mm-17mm spacers w/ factory sized tires.
6. Powercoating rims black; again only certain colored cars; if red, yes sir
7. Move to Michelins; not there yet.
8. Some sort of paint protection combo

Probably the first car I've had in my adult life that needs very little in the way of 'mods' to be simply a blast + very nice looking all stock.

+1. Tinting scheduled for next week, Michelins will happen after I wear off a bit more of the PZeros on a long drive through the Pacific NW.

Has anyone tried changing any of the teal color lighting (the ones which do not change to red even in dynamic mode) to match the red lighting elsewhere?

The door sills and a few other places come to mind.

I imagine the LEDs could be replaced...

I changed the door sills to blue, and the foot wells. Door sills are easy, one of the foot wells is a PITA.

Apropos simple mods I was all gee'd up to get wheel spacers and got H & R 15mm spacers but just found out they are illegal here :-(

Bruce, why are the spacers illegal?
I guess it's a NSW law.
Even if it's an SA law as well or even a national Oz law (which I very much doubt) I am not taking mine off unless or until I am given a legally enforceable order to do so!

Edit - I just found this line on one of the many thousands of sa.gov.au pages: "Spacers are not permitted between the hub and wheel unless originally fitted by the vehicle manufacturer."
I have also found similar lines on NSW and Vic gov pages.

Doesn't matter, I'm still not taking my spacers off unless forced to and I have never heard of this happening to anyone.

Hi, yeah I was gutted. I considered still putting them on but I was more concerned about the risk of insurance issues.

See, I had a snarky response all ready and you had to go be practical (you were hungry or you bit it testing the material and accidentally bit through). I'm surprised you aren't trying to get your own made with your personal logo..... I'd go in on some of those.

I remember seeing these when I was looking at the ones for the door: LED Cup holder mat.

Which reminds me, the valets at the dealership were all excited about my puddle lights on Friday. When I went in to get her it was super stormy so a bit darker than usual so they could see when they opened the door and EVERYONE had to come over to look.

Ahhh....another project. Just what I needed. Barb, it is a great idea. I’ll get started on it after the new rotors go on.

Details on the doorsills?

I saw the thread about changing them from plain to lighted, but I'm wondering what the lighted ones look like from the back, and could i change the color....

Glad I could add to someone else's project list!

I just went over a packing list for my weekend trip to work on costumes - rolls of 2 sizes of EVA foam, worbla, large patterns (think blueprint size), fabric, bedazzling supplies, flamingo scarf, adult beverage sippy cups, etc. I have enough projects myself at the moment. Keep us posted though seriously! I totally want that now!

Oh, and back to the earlier discussion of the badges/emblems and making them black - I talked to a place here that does powdercoating and other stuff yesterday and he said that since they are most likely plastic, they can paint them black (they've done others). So, once I get through this weekend, I'm going to order a new set of everything and take them the new ones to paint and then replace. That way if I ever decide to put the original back on or try something else at some point, I have a full set of the originals to play with. Once I get through this weekend and the latest pet emergency, I'll be ordering those and will let y'all know how it goes.

Apparently I'm not getting my windows tinted this weekend while I'm gone, but when we go to Ohio in July for the motorcycle thing, we'll schedule to have it done just before we leave so they can cure while I'm gone and I won't forget and roll the windows down.

I should have known that, but I guess I'm showing my age when I say that I remember when all of that was metal (let me get out my walker). Makes sense really, but I just wasn't thinking. Still, considering I can't paint my own nails without it looking like a 5 year old on crack did it, I think having a professional paint them for me with good paint/sealant is worth it to me. Once I get around to getting it done, I'll post pictures of everything put on. I'm hoping to get that done in the next month or so.
