Default The Smoking Tire SVR

Descent review by Matt. He still would go for the "beetle," at this price range. However, I wonder what he would choose if he was aware of the crazy deals many of us have scored.
BTW, when did the R get to 60 in 3.1 seconds???

yeah, he claimed it is a 3 sec 0-60. Not in this universe. I can see it doing 3.5 but a 3 dead or less than 3 is a big difference.

As for Porsche, I drove the 911s and did not fall in love with it. Found it lacked the soul of the F-type. I still think the best bet is to get it second hand. I got my V8 at 55% of original price. The SVR was selling for 190K in Canada with Taxes. I was offered 15K off so 175K. On the lease, the 3 yr residual value was about 75K. Such an excellent car in 3yrs for 75K.

A bit of a misnomer on this one as there is no "Smoking tire" on the SVR in that video. Yes, I know ST is his YouTube channel name. Just thought it humorous along with the mis-identified zero-to-sixty numbers. You woulda thought he would have at LEAST timed his own 0-60 times with that SVR but it never happened. Almost makes me wish I had that 11:37 back. LOL
