Default South Florida Meet-Up...

As a new f-type owner I would appreciate meeting other owners in the area...hang out, talk Jaguars, coffee, local Jag mechanics, talk mods, etc...

Perhaps we can start a thread and hopefully gather some like-minded owners and have a good time!

I live in Boca Raton and happy to drive somewhere locally...

I'm in. There's a shockingly small number of car meets in South Florida, given the sheer number of exotics on the streets. I'm in Miami Beach, but willing to take a drive... so long as it's not at an ungodly hour like cars and coffee.

I'm over on the west coast, but with a new F-Type, I'm, interested in letting it it stretch its legs. Of course, over here, the chances of damage are a little less. I lived in Miami for 15 years, got shot at twice, car hit 3 times, broken in twice, burglarized 2 times, and robbed once. Otherwise, It was a nice place to live.

Glad to hear from a few folks...maybe we can meet somewhere between Miami and Boca? Perhaps we should wait for a few more people...honestly I'm shocked that there aren't too many responses as of yet...I guess that's a good thing and our cars are still rare!?! I am in Fort Lauderdale. Keep me posted. A track day, even drag racing would be a fun meet up. PBIR?

I will be in Key Largo (Tavernier) last two weeks in May and first two weeks in June. Would be fun to meet up with you, if timing is right - but unfortunatly the F-type stays in Norway, and the rental is not a Jaguar

I'm just up the road in Punta Gorda. Any spot near oe between would be a good spot for a drive-in. P.M. or note.

How about a drive down to the keys? Meet up early on a Saturday or Sunday, grab some coffee, then go for a spirited cruise between the islands?

A drive down to the Keys sounds good but can we really "open" them up on the roads there? I've never driven there ... perhaps we should wait to see if anyone else chimes in.

PBIR/ track day also sounds good too! I haven't tracked the car and not sure I plan too, but the thought does cross my mind a lot since these cars are so much fun!

Lets see if anyone else joins our convo and maybe the first meet-up is a little coffee and getting to know each other and plan next outing in person....let me know your thoughts ...

Coffee in Fort Lauderdale, maybe? That should be a good middle ground for most people. Maybe something next weekend or the weekend after? I know next to nothing about FTL, so someone else will have to pick the meeting spot.

Nothing formal. I'd still love to meet other F-Type owners. I just don't know FTL enough to recommend a place to meet.

Missed the earlier post. I'm in WPB area. Will be doing a track day May 16 with SCCA/Tire Rack. Can provide coaching to any interested. We could do dinner/coffee/whatever afterward as well. https://www.tracknightinamerica.com/events/1987552-track-night-2017-palm-beach-may-16

Pick a spot in Boca then. No one has picked one yet - my suspicion is we'll go round the world a few times until someone decides. You pick one I'll go with it too! I would recommend we perhaps do a casual dinner spot where we can bring significant others. I'd be more than happy to cruise with my bride to Boca.
