As a member of So Cal Audi Club, I have participated in many track days/weekends with them at several different tracks. Clearly the nicest one is the Spring Mountain facility in Pahrump, Nevada not too far from Las Vegas. On April 27-29, (Fri-Sun), there is an event for which ear1ly registration (lower price) ends on February 28. Unfortunately, I can't attend this event this year, but have done so in the past with my XKR coupe, my Pantera, and even an F-type. Wish I could go that weekend but I'll be out of town. Spring Mountain is definitely on my list.

In other news, I'll be up at Thunderhill next weekend and look forward to finally seeing that track in person!

 

Spring Mountain is a much more technical track with more sharp turns than local tracks such as Buttonwillow. I took my ancient Pantera there once, and without power steering, felt like someone had beaten me up at the end of the day. But it's definitely a beautiful facility that keeps adding more tracks and more amenities, and of course, is just a short drive from Vegas.
