Default Spy Shots: F-Type SVR at Nurburgring

A Jaguar F-Type Roadster mule that will eventually become the SVR model was recently spotted testing on the roads around the Nürburgring, giving us our first look at what's in store. This mule is still missing the real and more aggressive front bumper with bigger air inlets, but as you can see in the spy shots below, it already has the bigger rear spoiler. A new diffusor and big ceramic brakes round out the package as well.

Power is expected to come from the 5.0 liter V8 tweaked to bring out more horses than in the R version, meaning somewhere about 580-600.

Check out all the spy shots below and let us know what you think!

Hmmm...I know it's just a prototype but they've got some work to do on that spoiler.

it's interesting that they are using a convertible vs a coupe for the test mule.

i think the ugly tow hook left in the rear looks horrible and adds too much extra weight.

At Nurburgring, that tow hook is necessary to remove what's left of the car if it goes off or breaks down.

The shape of that rear spoiler suggests to me that it's a pop-up design, but they have just fixed it in the up position for testing.

Exactly...some safety orange construction tape and it'd look smashing!
