Default Steering wheel randomly clicking when moving down

Got my car wrapped and when I received it the steering wheel clicks when moving down. Moves up when turned off but moves back down when car starts and there's this constant clicking. At certain angles it won't click but most of them it clicks when it moves down.

anyone have a fix for this? It's kind of loud and annoying.

Weird - hard to see how wrapping would cause that. I believe the knob/button that controls the steering column movement is on the lower left side of the column. This adjusts the driving position, and also selects whether it moves out of the way when the ignition is turned off, or not. I would try activating the movement with the door open, and me outside, so I could inspect the gaps in the column as it moves, sounds like something is binding, or some foreign object got into it.

Sounds like you may have a worn gear wheel on the motor that makes the steering column move. No idea on how to fix it though. Maybe just turn off that function
