Non-telescoping steering wheel
Morning everyone - well its morning in Niagara Falls!
The telescoping adjustment function on my 85 Slll does not work. The "locking ring" turns and tightens, but the wheel won't budge. Does something seize up in there? I have not taken anything apart yet.

maybe it was incorrectly re-installed if it was ever removed.
are you trying to move it forwards or backwards?
Has the steering wheel been replaced? if yes, it could be an issue of the replacement Hub or "boss".
