Not trying to start anything, but if you look at the facts of his case, the engine failed due to lack of oil. The car had been driven for some time without sufficient oil and seized due to main bearing starvation.

With regards to our software: Yes, our prices are reasonable. It's a conscious choice and our brand philosophy is to provide good quality products at a reasonable price point, not to build $10,000 exhaust systems.

I won't comment publicly on other companies software by name, but suffice it to say, we have tuned several vehicles that were previously 'tuned' by other companies. Some lesser known, in some cases have seen multiple files by a 'major' name for Jaguar FTypes, which had as little as 2 torque tables altered with driver demand bumped by 8%. Zero other alterations. In contrast, there are 68 tables we edit on a typical FType V8 file. Not just to get maximum power, but also to get 100% integration & factory driveability.

In that instance, after we replaced Company X's tune with the VAP software, the owner was blown away, said it was like the car wasn't even tuned before.

They paid 3x the price for their original tune that they did for ours.

Sorry, didn't mean to come off as arrogant there, that stuff is all fact. Would be happy to share information in private just not going to go naming names in public.

nice times bud!

I ran 11.37 stock @ 124mph at 1500ft in 75 degree weather with my F-Type R. I thought SVR's were capable of like 11.1-2 at 126mph etc.

Do I have a freak of nature F Type? LOL
