Default Storm Wheels....

Swapped out my ugly silver Gyrodynes for the new 20" Storm wheels from the CC Brake Package. Looks helluva lot better!

Now, I just gotta do the vents and outside mirrors in Carbon Fiber. And maybe do the front splitters and side sills also.

Glad you're happy. I happen to like "ugly silver Gyrodynes" a lot and think they're way more attractive. Storms just don't float my boat, but I won't go as far as calling them ugly. :-)

Me too; I like the Storms (I don't have them, but I like them)

I agree - Gyrodynes pfft!

But tell you what - I'd be willing to take them away so you don't have to look at them anymore...

Personally I would not bother with the splitters because you will never notice them, although if you are doing the side sills I guess you are talking about wrapping the bottom edges? In which case I think gloss black would look better than carbon fibre, or even a gloss black with a faint sparkle in it like the ones the "black pack" gives you. It helps to loose some fat off the car. It's the same reason I wear a dark black coat.

The hood vent should be black or cf if you are doing the mirrors and side vents, which you should as they set a white car off nicely. White mirrors do suit the convertible version a lot more than the coupe, but with the storm wheels black or cf matches nicely.

I like the storm wheels, but I'm biased as mine came with them. Fortunately I still like them after kerbing half of them too, which is virtually unavoidable if you have to use multistory car parks.

Looks awesome!
I don't care for the silver Gyrodynes either, but the machined/dark grey Gyrodynes (which I have) was another non-negotiable when locating my car.

Keep us posted on your wrap job. I want to do the same. You thinking the rear also? You doing it yourself or a professional?

I want to get the vents, mirrors, hood louvers, and side sills wrapped either in black or carbon fiber (maybe the rear, too?). I was also thinking of purchasing actual carbon fiber vent, mirror, and hood louver pieces but cost might be too prohibitive. (Will be much cheaper to wrap). My dealer recommended someone to me who can do the wrapping.

+1. In my case, since I ordered the car and the diamond-cut gyros were only available with the R, I had them installed before I took delivery.
