Default Switchable exhaust ?

Hi guys.

Here's Tommy .

My car is F-type 2019 P380 convertible standard.
Almost all options included but swichable exhaust? No..

I know when Dynamic mode on, sound becomes different even I don't have the switch to turn it on.

I wonder if there's difference in sound in both car, one with switch , another wihout.

wonder if if's just an option to turn it on even on comfort mode.

Another question, To here the sound, I always drive dynamic mode from the engine start. wonder it harms the condition of the car.

Thank you guys

Appreciate your answer in advance.

AIUI, the only purpose of the switch is to override the "quiet" mode in normal driving, or to disable the low revs loudness in dynamic mode. So it's both a loud and a quiet button depending on the driving mode selected. Once you get the revs up the switch makes no difference.

Regarding dynamic mode from startup, that depends how you drive - if you go full bore before everythings warmed up it's not good for the engine.

My car came without the switch.

The dealer said they cannot install one.

I could install the switch in minutes, however you must then change software which my dealer said they could not do it.

As mine is a 2018 the removal of a fuse does nothing.

same deal on adding front sensors.

And the electronics are awful. They dropped Spotify to save money.

love the car though.

actually, in dynamic plus Sport the car makes nice noises. I guess it is time to be an adult.

I don't really see the point of the switch - you can pretty much replicate the effect by selecting D or S ("quiet" mode) or dynamic ("loud" mode). What you can't do is have the low end noise in D or S, or the lack of low end noise in dynamic. Once you get the revs up it's out of your control (apart from your right foot)!

Thank you all guys,
Meaning 'SWICTH' can only give me the chance to turn on & off the noise whenever I want even in normal & dynamic mode.
When Revs up, sound is all the same for both , with or without swich option.

Yes. Really the switch makes the noise better below 4000 rpm on my car.

i am good without it.
