Default switching wheels from an older to newer coupe?

So I leased a 15' coupe ftype with the 19" black centrifuge wheels. I've seen for 16' they removed them. At the end of my lease (nov 17'), if I wanted to lease a new ftype coupe do you think I could switch the wheels from my old one if they continue to not offer the black centrifuge's?? Not that I ever would but just something I was thinking about. I really like the black wheels and it seems like they don't have many options.

Assuming they were an additional cost option, it really wouldn't be right to swap out wheels on the leasing company. However, one could rationalize that putting a brand new set of standard wheels on the lease return is a fair swap for used optional wheels. You'll have to wrestle with your own conscience on this one.

If it is an equal cost option wheel of the same size, you might find some dealers willing to go for it. Some might actually feel that you're increasing their resale value by giving them brand new wheels and tires on a used car. However, others might be sticklers for wanting the equipment matching the window sticker for resale purposes.

It doesn't hurt to ask.

I think that the dealer wants like value for like value, and would give you a hard time on this one. But, I would give it a try and see what happens.
