As the saying goes, always yield to temptation. It might not pass your way again.

Oscar Wilde never said that - he said "the only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it."

I wasn't quoting Wilde, I was quoting Heinlein. It seemed slightly more fitting in this situation

Jay may disagree, since he's adopted Wilde's quote for his signature.

One of my favourites is "Some cause happiness wherever they go, others, whenever they go."

Oh, that’s good. I may have to use that.

On a par with "she can light up a room, just by moving away from the window". Not sure where that came from, though.

I had the upgraded Y-pipe installed on the first Engine swap and even that blew up on me. It was still covered under warranty but still.... I think this time I will go metal.

My Mom was a doctor in English - Her favorite poem was Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night - by Dillon Thomas. I try to live by that as much as possible. So RAGE folks - and leave a messy corpse. In fact I may have that painted on the sides of the fenders.

Yeah Hudds - I'm starting to feel that way.

I asked to take the car to an independent shop and all of the sudden it was sold. I dunno maybe I dodged a bullet here.

Speaking of painting the fenders - I updated my Kill Marks under my cockpit canopy

A little clarification - the pick up truck incident was populated by 4 generations of Honduran women - and only the 12 year old spoke English. I had to yell at the other three through a little girl.

Ironically, I fell in love with the F-Type the first time I saw it, but felt like I wanted a coupe, so waited a year -- then bought a 'vert. Go figure.

Meanwhile, to the OP, check out the JLR dealer on Long Island. You should be able to do some quality negotiation, based on customer traffic for 'verts in Jan. (That's when I bought.)

Yep - That's the one I was trying to buy but was told it was sold yesterday. Took it for a test drive right after Christmas, was nice ride to the beach.
