Thanks to all. Finally found my F-type
It took 3 long months of intense searching for my needle in a haystack but I finally nailed it!
Criteria: R, AWD, less than 40,000 miles, BRG with Tan interior.
Found: 2016 R with all the above and 20,000 miles. Super clean. This car will be DRIVEN and Tracked!
Thank you to all those who helped with their advice, enthusiasm and expertise. Great Forum!
Believe it or not the front plate bracket is riveted on in 3 spots!
My solution may be to revive the plate I own in the UK which lived for many years on my grandfather's E-Type.
What do you think DRH 150 with black backdrop and yellow lettering would look like on the front?
Not as cool as the printed hood above but still......
Good eyes! The reversed photo was surprisingly much stronger! Maybe you can't kill the Brit in me though I've lived in CA for 25 years!

Beauty! For a while I was really after a BRG with the brown interior. Same needle but bigger haystack. Settled for IRR that fell into my lap because it was local.
I often think US states could make money by producing an euro sized custom front license plate. Most cars are design for it to fit better than our archaic shape. I wonder if the police would care if I bought a custom euro plate with my plate number and put it on the car. They probably have same response as me leaving it off.....here is your ticket, you owe us money.

I can live without the front plate here as long as I don't street park in San Francisco.
Would love to get rid of the front plate bracket but it's riveted on. Is there an alternative to drilling out the rivets and how do you fill the holes left in the bracket?

Only clean shot I got of the car was the day before it was on a transporter to me in the Bay Area CA.
Photos are in Marin, CA. some great driving here!
Sonoma, Laguna Seca and Thunderhill are my tracks. Guess I'm never moving!
