Default Probably too late but...

You didn't say what you were ordering. Vision pack is a must have. And if it is the coup folks have regretted not getting the panoramic roof. And folks have really regretted not getting the active exhaust. Try to make sure you get everything you want, retrofitting even the satellite radio has proven problematic. Good luck!

I really wanted the ivory duotone but got scared it would get dirty too easily. All black is a little boring but hides stains well :-)

I have the ivory duotone. No surprises but I have always ordered light colored interiors. Yes, it will show dirt but if you clean it regularly as part of your normal washing routine, it should be no problem.

Default Thanks, Another Geek

I failed to state that my F-Type R order is as follows:

- Stratus Grey exterior

- Jet/Ivory Duotone interior

- Black Pack

Gyrodyne Wheels (Black/Diamond Turned -- not my favorite design, but not in love with the Black Tornado, Blade, or Rotor Wheels either)

- Panoramic Roof

- Vision Pack

- Extended Leather Pack

- Power Liftgate

- Illuminated Tread Plates

I had always thought I'd go with the Jet/Redzone Duotone interior. At the last minute, while deciding on whether to go with Red Belts and/or Stone Headliner, I changed my mind to the Jet/Ivory Duotone. I always thought it looked smashing in photos, but was afraid to get it because I didn't want it to become a maintenance nightmare, become discolored, or age prematurely (as light color interiors sometimes do). I've no problem whatsoever with good leather maintenance, so barring something horrendous, I'm hoping this is the way to go. And, I've still never seen it in person.

Another other Ivory folks?

With those wheels I think the Carbon Fiber pack would pop more than the Black Pack. I agree the Tornado wheels don't work so well with Stratus Grey.

Default I'm sure you're right

but it's such an expensive option, with limited coverage, requiring the chrome window surrounds. But, that frees me up for some wrap and hydro-dip experimentation.

It's a really bad idea, and you'll regret it. Buy black.

There. Better?

A bit late, but the S-Type we had for 4 years had the ivory interior and did not have any problems with it at all. Did not get any blue jean discoloration at all. Good luck..

I have the cirrus white interior. I like it a lot because the lighter color opens up the tight cabin space quite a bit.

My gf has left some blue jean stains, but the car gets washed weekly so the detailer got it off easily with just light soap and water. Just don't let it sit too long.

At some point I will condition the leather, but I've had light leather interiors before without trouble.

Hope that helps.

That's also reassuring.

And, I'm sorry to hear that things didn't work out between you and your girlfriend. Relationships are hard, and what not.
