Can someone help me with the timing marks I have the specialty tool locked everything with the square looking thing at the bottom on the camshaft. But the chains marks don’t line up with the marks on the guide and the timing gears

im trying to follow all data but what’s on all data doesn’t seem to work and when I look online I see other people with different marks than what was on alldata

 

It’s for a 2017 jaguar ftype

Yes use the JLR documentation. Also do some searches as we have many very good threads with pictures to help out.

We all use different terms, some of which work better than others....
Google helps too, but use those Ai responses only if you verify that they work with your model-year/trim F-Type first!!!

 

Yes I meant searches on the forum as they are much more focused on your car. I also recommend searching on our sister forum in the UK. I don't use or recommend Google or junk AI.
