Default torsional rigidity with moonroof?

Hello, Jaguar advertises that the f-type coupe is 80% more rigid than the f-type convertible. Do you know if the moonroof option impacts the torsional rigidity at all? If so then by how much?

I would think not. Even if it did, how stiff does it need to be? If it's 80% stiffer than a conv. it will certainly be up to any task.

Wouldn't the panoramic roof crack if there was a lot of movement?

Semi-off topic question about the panoramic roof, is there a shade you can pull to cover it or is it open all the time?

This was a question specifically asked to Ian Callum, the head designer. The response was, Jaguar spent a lot of time getting the moonroof to provide the same torsional rigidity as the normal coupe roof.
BTW, on many performance vehicles the glass panels are a major component of overall torsional rigidity....makes lots of sense since it's a major weight savings to have the glass do double duty.

I read somewhere that there was a shade.

Regarding torsional rigidity, it isn't affected by the panoramic roof. The roof does add a bit of weight. Regardless of engineering measurements, in the first week that I've spent driving mine, IMO this car is extremely tight. It will be interesting to see how it feels on the track compared to my dedicated track-day GTR.
