Default Track day and TPMS

I tried searching and just got lost in rabbit holes.

After about the third session of my track day, the TPMS stopped working. I was hoping it was simply because I had aired down the tires; however, at normal street pressure, the TPMS is still showing zip. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

I would guess they overheated and decided to go offline.
But I don't have similar experiences so it's really just a guess.

I had tires very hot on multiple occasions and never encountered this issue. I actually use Jag's system to monitor tire pressures in similar circumstances.

Yeah, it's a mystery. They stopped working after my 3rd session. I took a little more pressure out of the tires then, but they should have still registered. I then aired the tires back to normal after the day was done and zip on Mon-Wed. The magically started working again when it was raining to beat all hell last night and are still working fine this morning.

At least the side airbags don't go off like GM's.
