Default Two injectors stuck open

Took my 2015 V6S for a spirited drive through the WV mountains yesterday. On the way back down a particularly fun 10 mile stretch I put my foot in it, heard a backfire in the exhaust and saw white smoke pour out the exhaust. I was 200 miles from home in the George Washington Forest but was able to limp to a service center with cell reception about 7 miles from where it let go. Was able to have the car towed home last night without any issues as it would start and run (poorly) enough to get it on the flat bed.

Just got off the phone with the mechanic and he has quoted me three new injectors plus an oil change and new plugs. Anything else that should be done while in there?

As an aside, I bought the car used with 42,000 miles. I have had it for 18 months and 10,000 miles and have run 4 cans of BGK44 through it in that time in hope of avoiding this issue. Apparently I wasn't lucky!

I had an injector go on my XK 5.0 after a spirited drive north to south across France through the night. I'd just filled up after crossing the Pyrenees into Spain when it failed. Similar situation to your F-Type - limped back to the service station and called for recovery.

It went on a flatbed to the nearest Jaguar Dealer in Burgos. They checked all injectors, replaced one, plus oil and plug change. Nothing else was required.

It took four days to get the injector from Jaguar distribution centre in Germany so I continued my 700 mile journey to the Mediterranean in a courtesy car. Repair cost was 1049 EUR (1109 USD) five years ago.

The 700 mile return to the Mediterranean in the XK was considerably more enjoyable than the slog back north in the courtesy car to collect it!

Vehicle hasn't had any similar issues since then.

I had a stuck injector when hammering it round Goodwood. Same resolution as above, although obviously the oil filter should be changed as well.

Well I got the car back last night with all three injectors on the passenger side replaced, new oil and filter and new spark plugs. Car seems to run better than it has, especially at idle. The ticking I previously could hear from the supercharger area is also gone. It was not cheap, but it was done very quickly, so I am happy with the result. Hopefully nothing else breaks for a bit.

I would have the O2's checked, as they hate raw fuel.
