Default Tyre Warming Technique

Perhaps a question for the Quarter Mile rather than Road Racing enthusiasts:

Should I just nail in in bottom gear, or apply a little brake pedal pressure and then nail it?

I'm not going drag racing - I'm just determined to give the (on the wear indicators) Pirellis a decent send off prior to getting some Michelins fitted...

Assuming you have a RWD version. Press and hold traction control until it turns completely off (NOT TracDSC). Put the car into first gear; press the brakes lightly; press the gas down until you start to feel and hear the rubber starting to burn; post video on Youtube for us to see; look for police; admire your smokey burnout!

Lot's of torque induced roll on that chassis. Looks like it's been lowered on the driver's side.

I was coming around a corner and fish tailing a tad! All nannies off. I never got a photo of the standing start which was also a smoke show.

Ok...makes more sense. That said, you need to lower the car to reduce that corner sway.
