Default UPDATE FYI - Online Service History

I called Jaguar USA in reference to OSH ( online service history ) today. When trying to log-in to OHS, it requires a code. After speaking with several reps, they say it will be available in July 2018.

The reason is I drive the car and do not want to remember when it's time for service especially with a warranty. I was not completely satisfied with waiting so I called the dealer I purchased the car from and said they would email when service of maintenance is due.
Even though we keep our own records, it's more applicable for Jaguar to let us know in advance with their database.

Uhm...when you get into the car do you have your wife or the valet close the door behind you too?

lol...A gentleman always opens and closes the door. For now, it's a no touch zone for valet.

The car itself tells you when a service is due via a message on the screen (the one between the speedo and tacho). It says something like "service due in 1,000 miles" and then starts counting down. The message pops up again every time you start the car until the counter is reset.

My dealer also sends me an email, usually two months in advance.

I’m old-school. I use a window cling in the upper left-hand corner of the windshield to remind me when service is due. Can be found in a nanosecond. No need to log into an app.

I am just now getting a message " Service due" comes on shortly on start up. If I am not watching it is gone quickly. No message from dealer (not really surprised). I checked O.M. Thought there was a Req. service chart, but could not find one. I have 3800 mi. on the ticker. Planned to call the dealer this week, but since he seems to be so busy(?), almost hate to bother him. Maybe I need to take the car to a M.B dealer for service and just pay for it there?
Last service to "Check fluid levels" took 1 1/2 hrs, my request 'not to wash the car was totally ignored, and I waited in a poorly equipped sitting area (coffee pot with burned 2 hr. old coffee) because I had not specifically requisted a loaner to use during my wait.
Maybe I just expect too much for a $110K purchase? Oh well...
Sorry for the rant, any suggestions on the "Service due" message??

Exactly my concern. Hopefully the OSH brings their database up and running in July. MB had me wait as well...so that won't work
Just like running my gas power equipment once a month so it doesn't get stale, have to add checking with jag on my calendar for now. Rant on......

It’s pretty easy to remember when the car is due for service - every 12 months. Not sure I would need the dealer to remind me....

You are not asking too much from a dealer for this level of a car. Mine provides that level of service without question. Despite their level of attention, I created a laminated “do not wash” placard that I place on the passenger seat, just to make sure.

FYI, the service info is in a separate manual from the Owner's Handbook - 'Passport to Service', or something like that. 16,000 miles or 12 months for normal scheduled maintenance.

A more important issue the OSH service solves is someone buying a used car and wanting to look up its service history or lack of it.
