It's falsely advertised as an S with Meridian Surround Sound, it is neither of those things, I hate it when a dealership (who should know better) does that.[/QUOTE]

Dealer had the nerve to call me back (after I politely emailed saying it wasn't an S and that I wasn't interested) saying: "it is and it isn't an S".....at which point I cut the conversation off and hung up.

Gents,
I've tried to read thru all 120+ posts and did not see any specific reference to aftermarket exhaust system suppliers for the F-Pace-S other than VAP. I just purchased a 2020 F-Pace-S and as with my other cars I like to free up the breathing first off. Exhaust and intake. I'm looking for a SS system that will not end up sounding like someone passing gas thru a tin can. In your collective experiences which systems/supplier produces a quality system that has a respectable growl and offers a good free flowing discharge.
Thanks for any info.

Texas.

I think the filter boxes on the F Pace are at the top like the XE whereas those on the F Type are at the bottom. Eventuri do an intake at least for the F Type though it costs a bomb. Someone else on the F Pace forum made fairly significant improvements to supercharger noise just by taking off the engine cover and putting in BMC filters which is a cheap way to proceed and I did that with my F Type which led to a noticeable change but not a scream if that is what you are after (it might be better in the F Pace as the F Type exhaust drowns out the sound at about 4000rpm).

The mechanics that worked on the VAP stuff for my car were not keen on SS parts for the intake due to concerns about heat. I dont know whether that was justified. I now have a VAP exhaust and wouldnt bother with trying to enhance the supercharger noise any more because you really cant hear it over the exhaust once it gets the revs up.

Acceleration you say ? Add the $300 Sprint Booster to override the lame drive by wire and drop .4 10ths of your zero to sixty. Problem solved. I bought these for a 370z, a MB 250CLA and a Lexus. No they dont add HP. But they eliminate the built in lag. No question about it.
