In California, my British Racing Green convertible F-Type had the state's standard white plate with blue alphanumerics; I thought it'd look better (and it does) with the vanity style: deep yellow figures on a black background. But I didn't want a "vanity" message or moniker so I opted for a random result even though it cost the same.
Luckily, and easily memorable, it arrived bearing the initials of the car's birthplace sandwiching the month/day numerals of my son's birthday (X's here), +1: GXXXB1
The Acura designation for their Gen-2 NSX is NC1. That was already taken so I threw a “J” followed by a space and then “NC1”. It so happens that is the Acura designation for the bespoke engine.
Wait a minute. This is the NSX Prime forum, isn't it?
Geeking out I know but I’ve always been a Star Trek fan. This is a take on that. My Jag has a UFP Hull designation!
You’re lucky you didn’t get the full NCC1701. I was just reading an article about a woman who used to have that as a vanity plate. Years after cancelling it, she continues to get speed camera tickets for people who have decorative plates with that, i.e. not real license plates.

Wow - never considered that and I did try to get that plate!
