Vanity plates
I think the Judiciary might take a dim view though, and impose a driving ban.
My wife (who loves the car by the way), just yesterday, suggested - being zenful - that a vanity plate (which neither of us desire) could/should read: NOTHING. If I wanted a vanity plate, I like the idea of F-15 (which is available in my state and I think kinda cool).
With this plate everyone thinks you are ex Airforce. You will get asked constantly if you flew F15s. With my mum they ask her if someone in her family is in the Airforce.
Thank God shift figured it out, every time I read BTR it just reminded me of HALO.
Not really worth it.....
Ha I would think you are saying its a rental!
Ok so looking for some plates
Here are my options so far
JA.44.AG
FT.11.YP
F.TY11P
00.GRWL
BA.44.AD
F.CA44T
What do you think?

EFNFUN
I wanted to change it this year but they discontinued my plate design which is white lettering on a light blue background. Since I like the poor readability of this color scheme I kept it so now I'm stuck with it.
Is that new? I lived in LA from 1999 to 2011 and had a vanity plate on 3 different leased cars during that time.
Must be because when you go to CA DMV's site and click on vanity plates, the first thing it says is not available for leased vehicles...
EFNFUN is very cool - why's the wife oppose that?
Personally, I went with MEGADTH on my car.

My leased vehicles always were registered in my name not the leasor's name. I have many friends in California with vanity plates on leased cars.
That only applies to vehicles leased in a company name where the registration is in the company name. See the 2nd question on the personalized plate online application here:

Good, but I am not prepared to throw away a pile of money on plates so have to work within the restricted lower cost options.
