Default Varta battery - Where to get

Anyone have a reliable place to get a good Varta Battery for an FTYPE R stateside. Seems like lots of retailers in Europe but I cant find any here in the States.

It doesn't have to be a Varta any good brand AGM of the right spec and size/shape will do the job.
Plenty here have fitted others such as Interstate or Duralast (I think these are well known US battery brands!) and the size H8 rings a bell.

The Varta is a fine battery, folks here are getting 8 years or more out of them. But I installed a Duralast at 7 years for around 1/3 the price of the Varta. I don’t recall anyone here having one shipped to the States.

Interstate now at 5 years, no issues. They all have the same handles in plastic...so I sort of suspect there is one OEM H8 AGM battery maker out there....at least in the US. Darn good unit too. I'd just go to a car parts store website and shop agm's....

Also inspect your new battery before you take it home. Mine had a cracked case, which I discovered after lifting in and out of my trunk. It’s heavy.

Thanks Gents. For what it appears im still on my original battery on a 2019 MY that was shipped late 2018 so its going on 6 years now. Rather be proactive then get stuck somewhere.

From what I can see its plug in new battery and then program it in scan tool to the car. Looks pretty straightforward so I'm hoping to avoid the usual dealer upcharges.
