Default VelocityAP Jaguar F-Type High Flow 200 Cell Sport Catalysts + Downpipe

Hi Everyone,

We have now completed our move into our new Canadian location and have been busy fabricating away. We completed our 200 Cell Sport Catalysts for the F-Type recently, and are looking for a customer to step up and test fit them for us. Priced at $1295USD per pair, but the first set for a willing test-fitter will be just $650!!!!

Email me at Stuart@VelocityAP.com if you're interested.

A couple of key features of our product include:

The correct sealing ring on the union to the center section of the exhaust - this ring is critical to ensure a good seal in the deformable clamp and prevent exhaust leaks:

Correctly Machined 304-Grade Laser Cut Flanges with recessed faces to allow use of the correct JLR Exhaust Manifold to Cat-Pipe Stud:

Continuous Mandrel Bent 304-Grade Stainless Steel tube. Less welds = better airflow, more HP and better structural integrity:

Manufactured entirely from aeronautical 304 grade austenitic stainless steel. The ultimate Jaguar F-Type 200 Cell Sport Cats from Velocity Automotive Performance! High flow Motorsport-grade Sport Catalysts & Downpipes for V6 & V8 Models, S, R, and R AWD. In addition to giving the exhaust note an aggressive edge, these catalysts replace the cumbersome OEM catalyst units which contain a 600 cell secondary ceramic catalyst, with a free flowing 304 grade downpipe and sport Cat. None of the resonance issues associated with gutting the OEM catalysts.
  • Backed by our 25-year guarantee against corrosion and workmanship.
  • Resonance free!
  • REAL WORLD Consistent Gains of HP and Torque
  • Retains Ridge in Pipe for Sealing to Center Section
  • 304 Grade Mandrel Bent Stainless Tubing
  • Continuous Mandrel Bend Stainless Piece (less welds = less internal restriction & turbulence)
  • Correct Factory compatible flange allowing OEM Exhaust Manifold Stud to be used
  • 200 Cell Metal Matrix Motorsport cat, 20g/ft3 precious metals loading
FITS ALL F-TYPE MODELS, V6 & V8, COUPE/CONVERTIBLE, R & R AWD

No CARB number, so no.

Based on the Specs of the cat brick, we believe so.

Based on the Specs of the cat brick, we believe not. If someone steps up to test them and they are below the CEL/49 State emssions threshold we'll just use one of our larger catalyst bricks.

If you're interested email me and I can discuss all the details with you

No worries. It's a great deal, I'm sure it will get snapped up quick

FWIW, you likely couldn't pick a better "test fitter" than Unhingd. He will be meticulous in installing these and in providing before and after test data for the V6.

1 of the 200 Cell Catted Downpipe and 1 of the Decats. It looks like the 200 Cells are probably spoken for.

Stuart, is the factory exhaust diameter of 2.5" retained in your lead pipes as well as the inlets and outlets of the cats? Guessing the cats are 2.5" Inlet and Outlet growing to 3" in the middle? I want the car to startle other drivers.

They are 2.5" Factory Diameter all the way through. Up-sizing the downpipe is not always optimal for power, especially so close to the very short exhaust manifold on these engines. Larger pipe = slower exhaust gas velocity and potentially more turbulent initial flow. When we do our long tube headers it might be suitable to use a larger diameter section.

If you want to startle people, a sport cat or decat will crank the volume up to 11!

Some people (very few) don't care & live with them. With our ECU Tuning we can switch them off, and I suspect most other tuners can as well.

Personally I think you should test two sets of 200 cell cats.

Shipping to UK comes up around £175GBP. Best bet would be to do a group buy and bulk ship 5 or 6 sets. That would drop the shipping cost down to 1/3 of that.
