Sorry to reopen an old thread, but my computer ignorance is showing. I tried searching for the thread on the full Vin# decoding that was up a few months ago. Only found a generic listing that gave a listing for all cars and wanted to sell more info for a price. Someone had passed on a JLR specific site earlier that had a full breakdown including MSRP and listed options. Can someone forward that link?

I can't help you with the thread you mention but this document has the VIN breakdown for the F-Type.

 

This is the generic site that I found by searching the threads at the top of the page. Unfortunately, the info that this site produces is only about 70% correct(wrong ext/inter color, hp, etc.). For a small initial price it will give you information on the current owner and location of the vehicle, mileage, etc. and I am sure for a little more money, it will produce more info, just send more money?
There is another site that I believe is tied directly to JLR that will produce all the info from the Window sheet. Someone sent it to me, and I did not save it. Dumb.
