Default VIN Lookup? Post-TOPIX?

Is it still possible to use the VIN to check which options are on a vehicle? Before I purchased my last Jaguar (a used XE) I was able to check out the options via TOPIX. It looks as though that avenue has been closed?? I'm in Australia if that makes any difference

Last few times I have tried it was a no go so I think you are out of luck, unless you pay for and sign up for a full membership.
If you have the VIN you might be able to get a friendly dealership to look up the Topix build sheet for you and email a copy your way.

JLR removed this unrestricted option from TOPIx accounts in 2020. This could have been belated compliance with The Data Protection Act 2018 (General Data Protection Regulations) but more likely to monetise TOPIx by making a current subscription essential to get anything useful.

As suggested above, any JLR Dealer can obtain the information for you. We get mixed reports about this across our forums but most members have found their dealer to be helpful with a printout request.
