Vin numbers

Is the K part of the vin US only or total run? I have a very low number but find it hard to believe as deliveries in UK were way before US as they have'13's.

I assume you mean the 11th character? If so that's the plant it was built in.

A car built the same day at that time would have been a 2013 MY in the UK and a 2014 MY if it were a US version. Fast forward to today, they're still 2016s in the UK while 2017s are arriving at US dealers.
