I was quoted $1100 to CPO my car when I bought it "punched" with 76 miles. Does higher mileage at time of CPO make it cost more? Seems like a lot for CPO, but I have no in depth knowledge on CPO typical costs.

$1100 seems realistic for CPO, usually what dealer is charged. Doesn't mean they acyually did the checks. Like buying an extended warranty and this is better.

I hate Gov't regulations, but this is One issue that there should be a simple law for clear disclosure: Right before you sign on the dotted line for final purchase, you check One box to indicate that you've been fully disclosed that the vehicle is either 1. New, with full 5 yrs factory warranty (& 5 yrs maint) from date of purchase, or 2. Used, having already been punched or in service, with how much warranty & maint left. How hard is that?

I've bought several CPO jags. The CPO typically runs somewhere around $1000-1500 per year of extension (although dealer often starts with a higher quote...)

So you've lost nearly 2 yrs of warranty so should ask them to extend by 2 yrs to match - at their cost (which is prob much less than you would pay for it). Shouldn't be a big deal for them...
