How much for Extended Warranty.
I got a CPO 2016 F-Type R incoming w/ 12k miles. CPO Warranty is 100k miles till 2022 . Yeah, like I am gonna drive 87k miles in 2 years.
Extended warranty is $5k for 8 years or 72k miles or something to that I effect. I declined it.
do I need to buy an extended warranty now (I got a month to think about it) or can I wait till I am closer to 2022?
I tend to keep my cars a long time. My last car, a Range Rover Sport, I had for 12 years from brand new. Zero problems. So I already have confidence/faith in JLR. But this is a performance car.

UK is very different the standard warranty is 3 years or 2 years for a used vehicle bought from a dealer. Mine just expired and the quote for a further year to extend was roughly a £1000 per year. As with all insurance, its a case of can you live without it if something goes wrong.
You can buy the extended warranty as you come close to the original warranty expiration. At current market prices, depending on what kind of protection you want, you're looking at anywhere from 1.5k to 6k tops for...I think 5 years.
