This is the part that's confusing to me. What would be a good price on a new one? I've always been able to pit one dealer against another to get the best price, but all three dealerships in Atlanta are owned by the same company. In addition, I'm told Jaguar doesn't have holdback like most other manufacturers. So, what's the dealerships real cost? What's the lowest I can expect to get? It's just so much easier when there is direct competition with other dealerships.

If you park the bus outside, you'd easily have room for a convertible and a coupe in the barn.

Oh, I have no shortage of room. I can fit 6 in the barn, 12 with lifts (3 or 6 on each side), as well as the bus in the middle bay. There's also a 3 car garage on the house. 15 cars + plus bus sounds about right.

If you ever want to adopt a son, I'd gladly let you use me for a tax write off. I just want to live and play in your garage!

It all depends upon when you buy in the model year run among other things. Right now, no one seems to be doing better than the 6% discount I was quoted today on a '16. However, that was for a base car. That may vary on the S and R. If a trade is involved, you might get a deeper discount if your trade is low-balled.

I have no clue what a dealer's real cost is with all the black programs various manufacturers run, and I suspect it varies with things like dealer volume and who knows what else. I would tend to trust what sites like TrueCar tell you.
