Wow, it is a beauty, Karim. White was an early choice for me, and the suede is a very fine addition. First time too that I have seen the delivery wrap. That gave me a fond remembrance of my Brand New 1978 Jaguar XJS, which too was white, a 12 cylinder wonder. The remembrance is because I bought it at Christmas time from the showroom floor where it had a Red Ribbon on it. I told the Salesman that I wanted the ribbon too, and I reinstalled it in our driveway for Christmas Eve. THANKS for that recollection.
Will maybe see you at a California Jaguar event....there's a NorCal drive being organized, and there is the JCNA event in Santa Barbara 10-31 through 11/4, if you're ready for a road trip.
Ok a few more observations, I got the VAP Exhaust installed. @Stuart@velocityap, your products are TOP NOTCH, and this Valvetronic exhaust is beautiful sounding, My god, I love this thing.
2nd thing, it's only day 2 and it's REALLY hard to stay within break in period and tame it down. I might just have hit a few 5k RPM, well just because it's so damn fun, how much actual damage am I doing to the car long term, I plan on keeping this for a very long time, I know I should have better discipline, but Dynamic Mode + AfterMarket exhaust and the car was just begging me to do it! Am I in trouble?????
Here's a pic of the carbon tips of the VAP, as well as debadged!
Lets put it this way : some early cars were not run in properly and later in life they blew their engines. THis kind of damage is since excluded from guarantee.
One of the reasons I bought a new P300 and not a used V6...

When you say guarantee, do you mean factory warranty? If so, I know it's possible to tell how a car was driven throughout its life (Porsche over run counter, for example) but are our F-Type's equipped with this? And factories are actually pulling the data from cars upon warranty claims for a blown engine?
Yes, the factory guarantee on the engine is void if you ignore the manual,
Do pay attention as DJS warned you earlier : "..There is a 'break-in' section in the Maintenance section of your manual, should you want to pay attention to it...".
I don't know if they pull data, but given the price of replacing an engine under warranty vs the price of a memory chip, I know what I would do as a car producer..

They very well could count the amount of times an engine is over-revved during the first 5k miles, etc. which would be relatively easy to do. I just do know that they do that, nor how much tolerance would be built into that. Would they allow 5 over-revs before voiding? Surely someone has mistakenly over-revved at some point during initial break-in so I'm sure there are tolerance rules, but Jag won't tell us.
Well, they failed to put the break-in procedure in the first printing of the manual, and my dealer insisted there wasn't one. I tracked down the procedure after I'd put a couple thousand miles on the car.
And the manual says 'The following guidelines will be useful in obtaining the optimum performance from your Jaguar..." DOESN'T say 'You warranty will be void if you don't do this.'
FWIW, I used the break-in period to practice, and qualify myself as skilled enough to use all the capacities this remarkable piece of engineering has. And I am glad that I did, because with that as background, I believe that I am a better driver for it. I had plenty of fun working up to full throttle experiences!

And you know what's a bonus with the P300 over the V6/V8 : this takes only 3000km's , not 3000 miles...
