The "S" is for snow. Lots and lots (and lots) of snow. [with apologies to Mpowerr for plagiarizing his title].

If AWD means Ah Whoopie Do, yes. If it means All Wheel Drive, thankfully, no.

Well done, Gene.

I also knew Marko had something in common with Dean Martin, now I know.

U, spoken like a man who knows something about tank treads.

Lastly,

2015 Jaguar V6S For Sale: 18,000 original miles. California car. Never seen rain (or snow). Serious inquires only please.

Ah yes, now I see the hood vents. You should change your name to RiskyJay. Snow tires do help, though!

As a professional commodity futures broker I can attest; no risk, no reward. As my friend who recently retired as an engineer from Honda - and was my co-pilot (and I his) on both cross-country road-trips in an Acura/Honda-supplied NSX - once called me, "Jay I down-shift at 100, in the rain, Levine", what is life without [calculated] risk?

[He also reminded me, in the middle of no-where, while doing 175 for a very long stretch, that a blow-out at those speeds would be fatal. Not that I needed reminding].

Filmed on a closed road with professional drivers. Do not attempt this at home.

EXACTLY. Another "B-I-N-G-O" Dave!

The strange thing about ALL of those disclaimers is regardless of what the driver is doing in any automobile commercial - no matter how tame or insane - there's that disclaimer. Of course, I guess there's always that one complete idiot that might want to - attempt to - emulate what they see on TV no matter how dumb it might be.

Lawyers, gotta love em. (I love mine).

Indeed! Not only do we all, my family, have their health (first and foremost) but I'm driving a Jaguar F-Type (albeit in the snow), so I'm certainly not one to complain! Good to hear from you and, in spite of rumors to the contrary, I welcome you to this country. .
