This week, while parked outside a local hotel waiting for a company client from overseas who asked me if I'd take him for a short drive on the F-type, a fine gentleman probably in his 70s went around the car inspecting it carefully a few time before saying hello. He said he was very intrigued and attracted to the car and started asking everything about the specs, etc. He then pointed to his fine Maserati GT V8 nearby and we engaged in a short chat about cars. He went on to tell me a rather impressive list of cars he had including an SKR, DB9, Vantage among other before the Maserati! So I thought I'd start a thread here so members could list the cars they had before the F-type and what models they'd like to own in the future if anything.
Here's my list
1985 Ford Del Rey
1994 Fiat Uno
1999 GM Corsa
2001 Vauxhaul Corsa
2010 Vauxhaul Corsa
2012 Vauxhaul Meriva
2013 Hyundai ix35
2017 Hyundai Santa Fe (current)
2008 Audi TT
2018 F-type P340 V6 (current)
All manual transmission may I say 😊
Cars I'd like to have in the future
Lamborghini Urus
Lotus Emira
911 S/T
Not much to be proud of - I always liked less common cars, but that doesn’t mean they were good.
1976 MG Midget (Dad’s car, but I got to drive it in high school)
1986 Ford EXP (two-seat Escort)
1989 Ford Thunderbird V6
1994 Ford Thunderbird V8
2001 Lincoln LS V6
2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid
2014 Jaguar F-type V6S (first time I’ve owned two cars, F-type is stored in the winter)
2018 Jaguar XE 25t
2021 Kubota BX23S
The abbreviated list:
1991 Mitsubishi 3000 GT (Modified turbo's and Apexi)
1984 Porsche 911 Targa
1967 XKE S1.5 Roadster
1972 Lotus Europa JPS
1970 Ford Torino (Cleveland)
1962 XKE S1 Coupe
1967 Triumph Spitfire
and (special for Dave) my first vehicle...
~1958 International Cub. (When my urban high school had its annual "Farmer's Day," I was the only one who drove up in a tractor.)

1972 220 (gas) A/T

1990 Prelude M/T Came with second wife. 👍

2011 XC60 T6 R Design AWD w/IPD bar.
1980 TR8 w/restored interior, magnaflows, killer stereo.
1998 S70. Son’s first car. Killer stereo.
2008 e92 Xi. Son’s second car. Worst car ever.
2016 F Type R. Had to have AWD.
2018 F Pace 35t. Cut the back resonators off.
2017 F Pace S.
2017 XE 35T Prestige. Son finally bought his own damn car.
I only really got into cars when I became hooked on NFSU2back in the very early 2000's. So from then I had:
Volvo c70T5 coupe;
2003 volvo s60R manual;
2008 Jag XF 4.2 prem lux
2011 Jag XF 5.0
2010 Jag XKR 5.0SC
then the F type which I bought new and is the car I've owned the longest, as I also have a manual Mustang GT I dont think I will be moving either for the foreseeable future.
My missus has also had a series of volvos before the first Jag XE in 2015 and then the current 2020MY in 2019, also not seeing any point moving it on.
These are mine (not including the wife's). Once I owned a home I became a two-vehicle person, always having a truck of some sorts for household chores in addition to the cars:

Totally forgot I had an 85 Laser turbo ES, when the battery got weak and I opened the rear hatch, the car would say "Right Rear Hatch is Open". I can still hear it in my head.

Jaguar’s recent EV only direction forced me to purchase a 2023 Aston Martin Vantage F1 instead of another Jaguar. Doesn’t hurt that the Aston Martin dealership in Houston is across the street from the Jaguar dealership!
