Trust me...if you ever have cause to be out in snow/ice in the F, you will appreciate it. I had to engage it coming home from Oklahoma in January when we had all the freezing rain and whatnot around Houston...without it, I would NOT have made it home that evening.

 

It is marvelous engineering for driving in ice and snow. Marvelous. Works like magic. With good winter tires, my '16 R in that mode is a veritable snowmobile:

 

It is GREAT when driving home on a road trip with a hungover wife in the passenger seat.
