What is this part?
Dear friends,
I have just received my metal pipes replacement for my F-type and watched several videos of how to do the job.
in this video,
at 5.59 into the video it shows a connecting coupler with 2 O- rings on each side. I didn't receive this in the package.
Maybe with the new design aluminum pipes, this part is not required.
If it is required for the job, where can I get one?
Thank you.

I would follow the guides on this forum instead of any YouTube stuff?
Try to search out any and all posts by "TheRock88". Great skills and great repair guides.
Here is a massive one he did on the F-Type cooling pipes. Lot's of factory manual pages in this.

Kypros, I have to remove the information I gave you.. It is mis-leading. I don't know what is wrong with me this morning? Anyways. The Female end of the Y-Pipe and the Male end of the Upper Water Pipe have been redesigned and the Coupler is no longer required for the repair. I have attached another article with tons of pictures to explain this whole thing alot better for you. Sorry about the confusion but the plus is that you don't need the Coupler.

Thank you so much for your answer.
My Y pipe has 2 seals at the male end where they attach to the engine, the female connection at the top has none.
If this means I have to use a connector, where can I buy one?

Thank you so much,
I found out the coupler is not needed by watching a few videos.
With the additional pictorial explanation you have provided, I feel confident I will manage to do it with my brother's help.
Thank you again.

If you are removing the supercharger so you can replace the coolant pipes then replacing the SC coupler (and SC fluid) "while you are in there" is a no-brainer.
Unless of course the coupler and/or fluid was recently replaced anyway.
