Hi lads, I was taking a look around the engine bay and noticed this tiny hose, it seems to be held in place by a clip but not connected to anything? Here are two pictures it's all the way back at the top (windshield side)
It's a bit dark but I'm talking about the small hose with a bit of red on top, if you look closely it turns towards the camera and down, it's held by a clip and not connected to anything. It wasn't wet right after driving the car so it doesn't look like it's dropping liquid from there, coolant level remains stable.
Yeah, I had the same question about that vent hose after removing the Symposer.
SEARCH only works if you use the correct term "transmission vent hose" but it isn't clear where the vent originates, as it goes out of sight towards the transmission.
Yea we all got stumped on this at first. Mine had blue paint dots on it.
Here is a thread that lays it all out if your interested? Also shows the earlier variation and why we never saw that as it was hidden so well from sight. Transmission Vent Hose
