Hi all,

Going to be taking the plunge on some HREs soon, and was wondering if anyone has info on what offsets work with 20 inch wheels.

I plan on adding in lowering springs, looking to improve the stance and avoid rubbing if possible.

Anyone have experience with custom f type wheels and care to share? Thanks!

I appreciate the links! I have actually perused most of them, and didn't quite find what i was looking for.

So to be more specific, I'm looking to do something similar to this:

The OP of that thread gives his offsets, but also says he had considerable rubbing of the rear tires. It doesn't appear he ever posted how this was resolved.

I am sure HRE will be able to help when I reach out to them, but I was hoping someone here who has already been through the process of fitting bespoke wheels to a lowered car could tell me how they went about it.

 

Is your heart set on HRE wheels? Check out Finspeed wheels. I'm ordering a set as they are of equal quality no doubt and $1000 per wheel cheaper!! Plus made in Texas!

 

I'm a big fan of the p104sc, but I'll take a look at finspeed too

 

Let us know what size wheel you are looking at and we can give you guidance on the offset.

 

Ideally I would like to keep the new wheels the same size as the oem svr rims (20x9 front, 20x11 rear) to avoid any unanticipated complications.
