Wheel torque settings
Hi i am now the proud owner and newby of the car of my dream a santorini black 2015 jaguar f type r awd dynamic i have been trying to find the torque settings for my wheels as the previous owner put 20" carbon fibre rims on and the only settings i can find are for the alloy ones i don t want overtighten them and damage them but at the same time i want to make sure they are tightened at the safe setting as i said i am a newby and this forum has already saved me a lot of money with its help i am very grateful i know it might be a silly question but i just want to look after my pride and joy and be safe if anyone out therE can i would be very grateful MH57 PUD
I don't think Jaguar provides carbon fibre rims so you'd have to know the settings recommended by the wheel maker. Unless you mean the carbon blade wheels, in which case they take the standard torque values (125Nm?)
The wheel nut torque spec is 125 Nm or 92 ft/lb.
