Default Where to buy muffler straight pipes? Muffler delete error codes?

Hello all,

I am looking to do a muffler delete and am needing to find the pipes to do so. Anyone know where to buy them online? I'm unsure if I can go to a muffler shop and have them do it there too.

On another note, I was wondering if anyone's done this and if they had any error codes/check engine light?

I doubt if you can buy an off the shelf bolt on straight pipes kit for an F-Type R but any good muffler shop can fabricate the pipes on the spot.
The hard and more expensive part would be to get it done in such a way that the new set-up can be unbolted and the stock set-up bolted back on, otherwise you are looking at lots of cutting and welding and no easy way to refit the stock set-up. Probably needs to done from the X-pipe back at least and possibly cat back.

That's what I was thinking. The guy at the muffler shop seemed hesitant to do it because he didn't know about the sensors and errors that could come up. He asked me to see if I can buy straight pipes for it but I feel like the end result would be the same, he would still have to weld them or bolt them.

I'm going to see if I can get them bolted instead of welded so if I wanted to reverse it I can for emissions or in case it actually ends up too loud (which I'm fine with but legally).

Probably gonna check out other shops to see what they say and if one of them can just whip up a straight pipe for me.

The ECU compares the oxygen readings of the upstream and downstream cats. Without them in the circuit, it's definitely going to throw warnings.
