Like Bill, I too experience the same noise. I tend to drive alone with my windows down, stereo loud, and in dynamic mode, so the noise is masked. But lately, I've had my wife in the car, windows up, and driving around in "wife mode," so I hear the popping nose and it becomes very annoying. I get the noise primarily on the driver's side C-pillar, and at times, both pillars. Noise occurs regardless of the temp outside, cold or hot engine. I have yet to take it in for service, b/c often times, I end up having more problems then when before I brought it in.

Would like to know how common an occurrence this is for fellow coupe owners (I'm not sure how to start a Poll Thread).

 

It could be the problem some have had with the weather stripping on the hatch. I seem to recall folks describing it as a clicking sound. There is a thread about it I think.

 

I think I have the same noise but would need to hear an example recording.

 

I tried getting a recording with my phone of the noise, but there is too much tire/road feedback to really make it out on the video

 

Ive had a popping/ clicking noise on the pass c pillar since day one. Happens when i am pulling into driveways. Im used to these types of noises, ive been driving Corvettes for 10 years lol
