Congrats ... an exciting time, bringing the vehicle home for the first time.

Should be picking my 6sp next week, hopefully.

Back to looking at those beautiful pics.

Here they come now ...

Waiting for me at the dealer

Showing to folks folks at work. Only 38 miles on the clock

Changing of the Guard. The new chariot and the one whose place it is taking

What's wrong with this picture?

That badge gives it added traction?

"S" on front "R" on back... Speedo only goes to 190...

Is it an AWD? I can see from the exhaust, it's not an "R".. what is it supposed to be?

He's posting it on a 6 speed thread. What's your guess?

It's clearly an R-S

The is no R with a V6 and with implied 6-speed, there is no AWD.

Unless I've got the only F-Type V6S 6MT AWD R on the planet. Hopefully it was only the one applying badges who had too many pints at lunch.

Did it really come that way? I thought you were doing some creative badging.

It really did. I was showing the car off and when I walked around the back I just started laughing. I'm probably going to keep it that way just because it's such an amusing blunder, but only if you really know the F-Type variants.

While it is amusing there will be people who give you hell for it, assuming that you were trying to badge-up the car.

You'll definitely be able to sit at the C250 Biturbo V12 table, for sure.

On one level, this is funny as hell, but then again, it's also sad, as well as a bit scary. It doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy about JLR QC.

But, most importantly, congrats!!!

This is a great perspective of the car, my favorite. It shows off the nose and bonnet lines, that roof line falling away to the back, and those rear haunches. Loved it.

When I take some proper pictures I'll be sure to get that angle in daylight, with a non-cellphone camera.

You could do a trade with BuickFunnyCar - he has an 'S' badge he might be willing to let go (per a recent heated thread)!
