Take a look at the photos. Maserati obviously redesigned their coupe and its suspiciously similar to a British car, specifically the f-type sports car. Do you agree or disagree.
Oh... the driver (guy) of this car can easily be part of the cast for New Jersey Housewives trash reality show.
Not sure except I think it is an improvement overall. Usually I find the proportions of these really odd, the additions help. Needs much wider wheels though, front and back, and the gloss black rims need to go as they look like rubbish bin lids.
Well, actually it is an Italian copy of the 2006/07 onward XK (X150), a bad copy, designed by a committee that could not agree on much. The Buick “portholes” on an angle, the messy rear end, the gigantic MASERATI badge on the rear panel, the awkward tail lamp design…ugh…
The Jaguar XK designed by Ian Callum is matched only by the Aston Martins of the same period which were in fact also the work of Callum.

The clean elegance of the XK:
I had an XKR before my F Type and after 8 years apart I am starting to miss it more. The XKR was a beautiful car, I had the '10 model and didnt like the depressed looking headlights and chubby cheeks, and the infotainment was clunky and the cluster dated. I was impressed by the steering and transmission in the F Type which was much better, but I'd swap the Mustang for a '12 plus XKR I think, except that I would miss the manual.
As a much younger person, the masarati name sounded exotic and cool. Ferrari was a bit too arrogant.
I like the XK very much. But I bought an F type.
because it is beautiful and I love it.
The maz is definitely a copy and probably a poor one. The Roma is a beautiful car but too much money and umph for an everyday drive.

Wasn't this design first released in 2007? Puts it a few years before the F-Type....
I always thought the F-Type looked a lot like the (2008) Ferrari California. Right down to the headlights.
There are indeed general similarities between the Ferrari California and the F-Type…but the Ferrari (much prettier than the Maserati) just has too much going on visually - although the F-Type comes several years later, it has a smoother, uncluttered, more elegant design at the front, side and especially rear.
The RX9 does show similarities to the F-Type but like the other imitators, it lacks the purity and simplicity of line of the Jaguar. It is difficult to improve on perfection.
The mazda looks 70% F type and 30% amg gt (older version). Just my eye. It is nice looking. Wonder if they'll do awd as it will have a lot of power....

I had an early Maserati coupe and a Cambrio Corsa Spyder. They were no where near as large as the new GTs. The newer ones are more like BMW 6 series cars. I don’t think, unless I needed 4 seats, I take one over an F. The F is awesome styling wise.
